TWELVE-WAY FOUNDATION GUIDELINES
These rules are designed to provide a sober and safe living environment for you. Intentional and continued failure to live within these guidelines is cause for dismissal from Twelve-Way Foundation. Any circumstances not covered by these rules or any exceptions will be at the discretion of the Directors.

Respect for staff, yourself and others is the key to following these guidelines. Twelve-Way Foundation will not accept unacceptable behavior.
ZERO TOLERANCE for use of any alcohol or drugs.You Will Be Tested If you go to the doctor/E.R. it is your responsibility to tell the doctors you can not take certain medications.
- There will be zero tolerance for violence or threats of violence!
- Weapons of any kind are not permitted!
- Gambling is prohibited!
- Stealing is grounds for immediate dismissal from Twelve-Way Foundation!
- Residents are not permitted in other resident’s personal area. Items that are in bags in the refrigerator, freezer, are considered personal property. All food must be in a sealed container in the refrigerator. All food will be eaten in the common area. Respect other’s boundaries!
- Office is off limits! ENTER ONLY WITH PERMISSION!
- Loud noise,loud talk, or ‘jail talk’ will not be tolerated.
- Residents are required to attend daily meetings and classes designed to help the individual recover. Residents will attend as many meetings as your phase requires.
- Telephone is from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. All residents are to limit calls to a maximum of ten (10) minutes. No phone calls except ,Family, employment, sponsor!
WE EXPECT YOU TO FIND RECOVERY NOT A RELATIONSHIP!
Bible Study is at 6:00 a.m. Morning Meditation is at 6:45a.m. It is your responsibility to get up on time.(few exceptions will be granted)
Residents must be on time for ALL scheduled meetings and classes, cooperative participation in group activities and assigned tasks.
Staff will assign daily chores. House chores include but are not limited to:
- – A. Keep bedrooms neat and clean at all times. Beds are to be made by 8:00 a.m. Clothes and personal items are to be stored in a neat and orderly fashion. Each resident is responsible for washing his sheets at least once per week.
- – B. Dishes are to be washed.
- – C. Sweep and mop floors, remove the trash.
- – D. Wipe off tables and chairs,sweep and mop common area,clean sink,floor and table in the coffee room.
- – E. Showers are to be wiped out after each use.
- – F. Personal items such as soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, towels and dirty laundry should be stored in your personal area, not the shower room. Twelve-Way Foundation is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- – G. Toilets are to be cleaned daily.
- –H. No sleeping between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. unless authorized by a director. Exceptions will be granted for those working late shifts.
NO SMOKING IN THE BUILDING! NO SMOKING IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING!
Washers and dryers are provided for your use. The laundry schedule is even numbered rooms on even numbered days, odd numbered rooms on odd numbered days. Do not start your laundry and leave it. Others will be waiting on you. Twelve-Way Foundation is not responsible for items lost or stolen.
All residents must be fully clothed unless they are sleeping.
All residents must pay with a check or money order on payday. If a resident is behind on his Financial Responsibility he is expected to pay his weekly rate + a minimum of 20%.
Loaning money to other residents is discouraged. Twelve-Way Foundation is not responsible for your debt nor will we help you get your money back.
Twelve-Way Foundation staff are not allowed to loan money to residents.
Television will be shut off at 10:00 p.m. and at 12:00 on weekends. Sunday night curfew is 8:00 p.m. for house cleaning, house meeting.
All visitors must be approved by a director. All visitors must check in at the office. Visitors must stay in the common area while visiting. Visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.Saturday and Sunday only! Your sponsor is welcome from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. except on Sunday.
WEEKEND PASSES WILL BE GRANTED AFTER YOUR PHASE REQUIREMENTS ARE MET!
Any resident who does not return from a pass ON TIME! will lose their bed.
Their personal property will be held for only seven (7) days. After that time, the personal items will be given away or thrown away. Any disabled vehicle left behind is subject to towing at their expense.
No parking in front of the building.
Respect for self, for others, and responsibility for your own actions.
